Well, that's a relief

Jam Session Review for Sunday 9th November 2025

As Mike remarked halfway in, if those people leave, we are in trouble - they didn't, and we weren't...

So, a rubbish weather forecast persuaded a party of about twenty to book  a table at the Gov instead picnicking in the park... and then they found they were enjoying the music so much, they sat in front of the band, stayed all afternoon, and, hopefully, had a better time than they had bargained for... meanwhile, the sun shone anyway.

Eighteen jammers fronted for this one, and generally got their s*** together - resulting in a lively jam. The place got crowded for a while - it was a fair squeeze by 4pm

A welcome return from Ash de Geelong, (guitar), a long session from Haircut Clifton on the hitaboxes, and improver of the week Kaori impressed on walking bass. And the usual suspects (well, most of them) did their usual thing, to good effect.

The Good Captain pronounced hisself well chuffed - and so he should. Props to Mike, Neville  and the others who helped pack up.

After the previous week's lacklusterly effort, this session was definitely a relief..A big audience really helps.
