Volunteers are the lifeblood of Newport Jazz Festival. We rely on volunteers to move in and set up stage equipment, check tickets, manage the sound tech, carry out any first aid, and help with everything that makes the festival work. 

Typical volunteer slots are for a 2-3-hour duration. As a volunteer you earn a free day pass to the festival and $10 meal voucher, as a thank you for your hard work.

Student volunteers are also given a referral letter describing their experience and participation, to help with future job hunting.
