The fourth Newport Jazz Festival Australia will be held on May 3rd to May 5th 2024.

​

This year, we have elected to run four venues (Bowls Club Main Room, Bowls Club back room, the Library and The Scout Hall) - keeping all the venues close to each other, - plenty of variety, and opportunities for musicians and audience members to get together.

​

Band Registrations are now closed. We are heavily over-subscribed and will be focussing on picking bands you (the audience) will like - We already have "headline" bands performing  on each of the three days: Shirazz (ever popular with the Trad fans), Bob Sedergreen and Friends - see a legend of Australian jazz! - and Julie O'Hara with Adam Rudegeair

Musicians: As soon as your band is accepted, please register your details on the Musician Registration page

Patrons: Want to buy a ticket ? There are a number of changes this year - all of them good. The Weekend Pass will be $79, a Day Pass $49

​

Sponsors: We are delighted to announce that Altona Lions Club are returning as sponsors, (they saved the Festival last year),  and are now being joined by The Boatshed Cafe, who are terrific year round supporters of live music.  Hobsons Bay City Council have already joined the party, and will provide funding support for the Festival
