Last Sunday (19th June 2022) 22 musicians attended the Middle Park jam. The usual instruments, namely 4 saxophonists, 2 drummers, 2 guitarists, 2 pianists, 1 trumpet and a bassist appeared along with 4 vocalists.
But then there were the exotics. Lynne and Charlotte did a fine flute duet set. Jeff and Tim played their clarinets,Keith brought out his bass clarinet and Huich with her electric violin, Surprisingly, at one stage, there were 4 flutists in the room. Must also add that newcomer, Ken Cowen tickled some fine ivories and Tony Luxemore played bass for a solid 3 hours.
A fine afternoon of impromptu jazz was enjoyed by all
