 Review of the Jam session on 27th July 2025

21 musos turned up for this one - and quite a few locals dropped in for a listen, or to watch the football, or do whatever else one does in a Sunday arvo boozer.


Jazz anyone? Another good day at it - and if we had to pick a few highlights, newcomer Tony was ace on keys, Paolo hot on guitar ,the first duet since the Leinster days from John and Michelle, a wapped up version of Worrisome Heart, Brigid essaying Where is Love, which contrary to popular opinion on the day, was written by Lionel Bart for Oliver, and not Les Mis - or maybe she sang it so badly it sounded like Les Mis, but I doubt it as, despite her years of experience, Brigid seems to have skipped Chapter 13, How to Sing Really Badly, in the Jam Session Rule Book altogether - if you really want to know what not to do you can check it out at :
