A Quiet Little Drink

Jam Session review for Sunday 23rd Feb, 2025

Every so often, we have, for no particular reason, an excellent excuse to sit around and gossip - eighteen musos for this one, so no hurry, everyone got a go, nothing got broken, and the sound varied as ever from appallingly unbalanced to really quite good.

Philip, back from his Port Fairy adventure, played some neat piano, Martin tight as ever on the drums,  Andy Moon (bass royalty) was terrific, followed by Ivan Sultanoff who got better and better, Jane on the tonsils, Anthony in fine form, Neville showing how guitar should be played, Cardinal Calamatta sweet on the sax as ever, Chrissie performed one of her originals - (pretty good!)... and if I haven't mentioned your name, it is probably because you are young, good looking, talented and precocious.
