Shirazz

Founded in 2009, Shirazz is one of Melbourne's premier traditional jazz bands — a six-piece Dixieland ensemble specialising in the hot, raucous jazz of the 1920s and '30s. With five albums to their name, they have performed at the Wangaratta Jazz Festival, the New Zealand National Jazz Festival, and have supported James Morrison in concert. Their irreverent, high-energy live show is not to be missed.
