Melba Big Band

Melba Big Band has graced the jazz scene for over seven years, performing at festivals and premier venues across Australia. Led by saxophonist Justine Jones, this all-female ensemble features four trumpets, four trombones, five saxophones, rhythm section and vocalist Katrina Buttigieg. Drawing on the golden era of big band — from Glenn Miller and Count Basie to Nina Simone and Maynard Ferguson — Melba delivers the music that made generations dance and fall in love.
