Newport Djangos

The Newport Djangos are a Melbourne ensemble performing gypsy swing in the tradition of Django Reinhardt, 'Swing a la Django'. Featuring violin, clarinet, guitar and bass, the band brings the spirit of 1930s Paris hot club jazz to Australian shores, with a warm, joyful sound and a deep respect for the jazz manouche tradition.
